We can assign init vaule for the ST control number, but when I run a transaction, it will rise.



for example:

When I set the envelopes, I set "1" for the ST control number, but after run some transactions, it`s not "1" .
How to keep the init value(1) when I run other transactions?
I want the ST control number begin with "1" everytimes, but not others.

please help.

In your ST envelope - are you seeing this as an option:


Control number handling Always start at 1

The control numbers are incremental (partner specific)..starts with 1 and subsequent transactions will have 2,3,4,5....as it can't be duplicated every time you send EDI outbound transaction.
